Notes

  1. Coffee/food. There is a well equipped lounge with vending machines on the first floor of Building 2000. Behind Building 2000 and across a courtyard is The Commons. This is an MWR facility that has a Subway outlet, an NFCU ATM machine, a bank of computers with internet access, and a gym.
  2. Base access. As of July 2009, a vehicle pass is required for cars without DOD decals. The pass office is just outside and to the right of the main gate. A rental car contract and ID/CAC card must be presented to receive a vehicle pass. The pass office hours are 0645 to 1445, Monday through Friday.
  3. Directions to at least two hotels (Holiday Inn, Best Western Cascadia Inn). These two hotels are in downtown Everett. Take I-5 north from SeaTac Airport. Take exit 193. Turn left (west) at the end off the off-ramp onto Pacific Avenue. Holiday Inn is one block away on the left (turn left onto Pine). The Best Western is just past the Holiday Inn on the right side of Pacific.
  4. Directions to the naval station from the hotels area. Proceed west on Pacific Avenue for approx six blocks. Turn right (north) onto West Marine View Drive. Proceed for approx 1 - 1.5 miles and turn left into the NavSta main gate.
  5. Nearest Kinko's outlet. From the hotels area, go south on I-5 and take exit 189 onto Everett Mall Way. Go for approx 2 miles. Kinko's is on the left in a small strip mall.
